Words escape me...

By now most people have probably turned on the news and seen or read about the Earthquake in Asia. 

My Boyfriend called me at 5 am to tell me that Phuket was hit by a Tidal wave caused by this quake.

Thankfully he is safe but Patong where I just visited has been hit bad. People were swept out to sea and most of the seafront has been devestated.

Shops and places I visited are not there now or destroyed.

The waves in Phuket according to the news reached 16 ft - I have not been able to see a lot of images as there is probably too much confusion over there right now.

All people on the coast and near beaches are being told to head inland and up the hills as there may be a second wave - I cannot begin to imagine how the people are coping, so many injured and missing aside from the damage that has been caused by this.

My heart goes out to all the people of Thailand, Indonesia and everyone effected by this.
