Travel Problems

My regualar readers will know that my man is currently away on business. He should have been back tomorrow night.....

Since he has been away he has suffered from a severe eye infection and still can't see much from one of his eyes.

When he checked the departure on his ticket he couldn't see it as it is in red and so he looked at the itinerary thinking that he has to leave this evening from Bangkok - WRONG! He was supposed to be on a flight out this time yesterday so we are now trying to figure out what the hell we can do to solve this problem. His visa runs out at midnight and there is a flight at 23:00 (local time) so all things going well, the airline will allow him to pay a fee to change his ticket and actually get him home soon.

I feel helpless as he is really on his last thread - he is hardly ever sick and he was quite bad for most of the 4 weeks he has been there.

I am hoping that he will manage to get his ticket changed and on the flight tonight.....

****UPDATE****

The airline managed to get him on the plane and they didn't charge him for it, we were worried for a while that he would have to pay for a new ticket and it is NOT cheap!

The one problem we have is he has to wait 16 hours at Heathrow but there might be a chance he can get moved to the earlier flight

At least he is on the way now
