The most common sights and sounds in Patong are....

Once you have been here for a day you realize what the most common things are. Sights list would include

• Laundry (these are everywhere!! 10 bhat per item washed and ironed)
• Motorbike Taxi
• 7 Eleven (usually more than 2 per main street)
• Hair Dresser
• Thai Massage

Now the sounds list would probably include

• Tuk Tuk (Taxi thing)
• hello motorbike Taxi

When you look around shops and stalls which are everywhere you will usually here one or all of the following phrases

• Hello, have other colour
• I make you good price
• How much you want pay
• If you take more I give you cheaper price

It is a great place to visit though you have to watch out for the sharks, they will try to sell you something for a lot more than they expect you to pay unless you are wise to it. The other day a guy tried to sell me this banana leaf umbrella for 1,200 bhat in the end he settled for 200 bhat and I can guarantee he still made a good profit!

We went to the full moon festival the other night though I will elaborate on that later when I can post pics.

Yesterday we went out to the zoo. They do shows there with a timetable. Mo9nkey show, crocodile show and elephant show, they were quite good and the crocodile show had the two guys with their heads in these crocodiles mouths!!! Now I know why they prayed at the beginning. I got a pic with a Tiger and a tiger cub, I fed the tiger cub, they were so cute and docile but being raised around people I guess its natural.
