Soup and stitching

So what have I been up to? I watched a few DVD’s at the weekend, X-men, Lilo & Stitch, Human Nature and Iris. I finally finished a little card kit from a 1997 magazine which is here 

  and last night after I made some yummy pumpkin and carrot soup, I did more knitting, while watching/listening to Friends and Muriel’s Wedding of course. Here is my progress so far…. 

Now some of you might be wondering what happened to the blue thing, I had a little accident and dropped a bunch of stitches in the middle of a row and couldn’t recover it so I gave it up and started again, this time with a plan. See the Purl stitching, I finally managed to do it *yay me!*

Well now if anyone wants to know the soup recipe, boil some chunks of pumpkin and carrots until squishy, drain pan leaving a tiny drop of water, add milk salt and butter and blend until creamy. See simple and yummy! This is what it looked like
