This was a book I hardly wanted to put down and if it wasn't for sleep and work I am sure I would have read it in even less time than I did! I read this in approximately 12 days and as it was almost 600 pages I am pleased with that.

Rose Daniels has been married to Norman for 14 years. On their honeymoon he bit her on the shoulder leaving a permanent scar - the abuse escalated from there to the point he beat her foetus from her womb causing her to miscarry. One day Rose wakes up to find a single drop of blood on the sheet after her husband has hit her yet again. She finally realizes she must leave though Norman is a cop and its not all plain sailing.

When Norman Daniels comes home to find his wife and ATM card gone he decides he must bring his wife back so that he can talk to her, right up close! How dare she leave him, how dare she withdraw $350 of HIS hard earned money - more to the point where did she go?

Will Norman find his wife? Will he talk to her right up close? I wont tell you - read the book and find out!

I really liked this book, it kept me interested and it finished with all the loose ends tied up neatly. If you are looking for something to keep you interested, this fits the bill!
