I quite often think of Thailand, I was there for just over 3 weeks and I miss it. It was easy to like the life there.....
I still have more pics to share and eventually I will finish. Today I wanted to show you what Thais use as a broom, a fruit vendor and a clothes label with bad spelling. Those were the pics I took on the last day of December.
On December 1st, we went out (the man had a day off) and did some sight seeing.
First we had breakfast at the Dolphin Bar which is close to the sea front - this bar wash washed away in the Tsunami but the owner rebuilt it and the girl that was working that morning escaped - something I am glad about!
We left Patong and went towards Karon and Kata. We turned inland and found there was an exquisite temple just a few minutes inland so we took some photos, actually the man took over the camera as men are want to do!
After that we continued along the road and saw a bike with a laundry delivery - I miss having laundry done in Thailand, 10 bhat per item washed and dryed and ironed and folded.
We went to Rawai beach and had fish cakes, they were very tasty!!
We also went to Cape Promthep and saw the temple and lighthouse.
You can see the other photos from this day here, we had a great day!
