more diving

posted Monday, 17 September 2007

I did some more diving this week and started doing my rescue diver course. I have already done the exam and the confined water part and soon will be doing the open water scenarios.

I also went to the Um El Faroud and the HMS Maori this week. The last time I was at the Faroud was 1999 and its quite different now - when I went the wreck was in 1 piece and now due to a storm a few years back it is in 2 sections slightly apart. I had a great swim through and we headed back to the exit soon after.

The Maori was a good dive as I had never been before. It was sunk in April 1942 and is in about 14 metres of water so we managed a fairly long and relaxed dive.

I have a film to process but I want the photos put on to a cd not printed so I can adjust them.

Anyway thats all I have to say for now. I am tired and have a little more reading to do before bed!
