There is more to Ivan Rasmussen than first meets the eye. This story begins with his concern over Lucy his ships cook who we soon discover is going to take some time off to get married. As a replacement cook, she has convinced her cousin Stephanie who needs money after buying a house in need of some 'minor' repairs.

At first Ivan and Stephanie are very wary of one another but soon get talking. Ivan recently sold his family home, the house was bought by Stephanie with grand plans of turning it into a guest house. Little does she know there is some meddling going on. The alleged family ghost is on the rampage at sea and on shore but exacly what is going on??
