Knitty weather

Today has been cooler and cloudy and it put me in a knitty mood!

I went to my local shop to collect the bag of bits I had them put aside for me and found some very nice dark red chenille, ribbon like yarn that I will try to make a hat out of. I decided to design one, I can see it in my head, all I have to do is create it!

I tried to find some sock patterns but again, no joy! I will have to find a book on the net. I wish they had the Charlotte pattern here and yarn but noooo - its pretty hard to get anything but acryllics *grrr*

Well, first thing is first, start dinner, clean floor, eat dinner, finish cross stitch piece (back stitching) and do some swatching :D

The only thing left to make it a perfect evening is a thunder storm and a mug of hot chocolate (and slightly cooler weather)
