![]() | Hide and Seek Robert DeNiro, Dakota Fanning Date: na — DVD / VHS Rating: |
Yesterday we treated ourselves to a night at the cinema. We decided on this film as the preview looked good, scary but good!
Robert DeNiro plays David, a New York based psychologist who decides that after his wife commits suicide, it would be beneficial to his daughter Emily (Dakota Fanning) to move to the country.
Emily makes a new friend called Charlie and out grows both her dolls and her previous need to have her door left open at bed time.
It seems that a lot of disturbing things happen at 2:06 am including scribbling on bathroom walls (I wont give anything away)!
Elizabeth Shue stars as Elizabeth (how original) who we meet while she is looking after her niece. David tries to befriend her in order to encourage her niece and Emily to become playmates - for some reason Elizabeth has a lot of breast showing (the boys will be content)
Charlie it seems is a very dangerous influence and along with a rather odd realtor and a couple next door who lost their own daughter you are left wondering who is doing all the bad things here.
This film will keep you watching and the performances by DeNiro and Fanning are truly worth seeing.
