I can't really put my finger on what this film had that made it fun. It just sort of was.
John Travolta and Uma Thurman are together again, this time joined by a lot of people including Vince Vaughn, Danny DeVito, Cedric the Entertainer, Harvey Keitel, Steven Tyler, The Rock and Christina Milian to name a few.
I went in to the theatre not really knowing anything about this film, there again it is hard to define. It was sarcastic and silly and fun and the story just sort of happens.
At the start of the film, we meet Chili Palmer (Travolta) who was a shylock and most recently has been in film, he wants out - this is something he is discussing with an old friend (and music producer) Tommy Athens (James Woods) over lunch. Tommy has a great idea for a movie about the life of a music producer starring Chili and a new talented girl Linda Moon (Christina Milian). As Chili goes to the mens room, Tommy is gunned down by the Russian mafia .....
The Rock plays the part of a gay bodyguard Elliot, to Vince Vaughns character Raji, who thinks he is black and is such a fashion vicitm! Elliot is an aspiring actor whose only talent is raising one eyebrow!!!
Anyway, check it out, it is fun and you will giggle away like an idiot
